So Deadliest Coil doesn't drop until we down the last boss of the first raid and Frenzied Monstrosity is a drop off a weekly rotation boss.Since Runecarving is going to be available several weeks prior to these drops, is it more efficient to wait? Or should we craft one of the 'lesser' legendaries in the between time and build a better one later?Comment by Nukesey

Hello there.(Sorry about my bad english)
I got a question about the legendary Crafting Preference. For Frenzied Monstrosity, wowhead says to put it on the legs but, when we look at the stuff in dungeon and raids, there is at least 2 piece of stuff with Mastery/Haste on legs and... 0 on Cloak !
Is that not way better to put it on the Cloak then ?
Or am i dumb ?

I just find it so hard to fathom that 12% increased damage and attack speed for 15(18)sec on a 1minute cooldown from FM being bettered by a 25% reduction in the cost of deathcoil. Has anyone tested this in actual gameplay and not just sims?Contribute
Covenants
All the covenants are fairly close in value, Necrolord is currently the strongest one, however venthyr gains a lot of value for short AOE burst since the venthyr ability lines up with your other 1min cds.
Soulbind
The best Soulbind for Unholy Death knight is currently Bonesmith Heirmir Since the crit buffs lines up well withApocalypseUnholy Blight and Dark Transformation.

Conduits
Potency
For potency conduits you want to go with Eternal Hunger.
Eternal Hunger increasesDark Transformation duration by 3 seconds and your minion damage is increased by 3% as well.
Endurance
Your endurance conduit is going to beReinforced Shell. It increases the radius by 15% and the duration by 2 seconds of yourAnti-Magic Zone ability; this is going to be the go-to choice for raiding.
However, for Mythic+, you may find more success with theHardened Bones conduit that makes it so whileLichborne is active the damage you take is reduced by 6%.
Finesse
Finesse conduits are a lot more open and really depend on what you need. If there are fights that require interrupts, then theSpirit Drain conduit (successfully interrupting an enemy withMind Freeze grants 10 runic power) could end up being a very minor DPS increase.
The other option for finesse conduits is Fleeting wind giving you some extra movement speed the first 3 seconds after you press deaths’ advance.
Legendaries
For single target, deadliest coil is going to be the legendary you want to craft. Deadliest coil reduces the runic power cost of death coil by 10 and death coil increases the duration of dark transformation by 1 second. This legendary can be crafted for either the chest or the cloak slot.
For AoE, Frenzied monstrosity is going to be the strongest choice since you will spend your runic power on epidemic instead of death coil. Frenzied monstrosity causes your dark transformation to also increase the attack speed and damage of you and your monstrosity by 12%. It can be crafted for the head or hands slot.
To avoid any overlap with domination sockets and last boss loot you want to recraft Deadliest coil if you don't already have it on the back.
Legendary Slots
Slot doesn’t have a domination socket or it does, but it’s from the last two bosses:
- Back
- Waist
- Legs
- Ring #2
Unholy Dk Bis
Slot drops off last two bosses:
- Neck
- Feet
- Ring #1

Weapon
Jaithys, the Prison Blade is the go to weapon in patch 9.1 because of it’s high 259 ilevel. However, the on use is not worth using because the DPS increase is very minor on single target (roughly 15 DPS). The on use will consume a weapon from your bags and increase your main stat, but it also reduces your secondary stat which is why the on use effect is currently not worth using. On 2+ targets you will lose out on even more DPS.
Trinkets
Trinket 1: Old warrior’s soul drops from Sylvanas.
Trinket 2: Inscrutable quantum device drops from de other side.
